Shawn Williams

Shawn P. Williams is a seasoned professional with expertise in technology development and management within the manufacturing and materials chemistry sectors. Currently serving as the Battery Thesis Lead at Re:Build Manufacturing since December 2022, Shawn previously held significant roles including CTO and Deputy General Manager at A123 Systems, CTO at the Kostas Research Institute for Homeland Security, and VP of R&D at Rogers Corporation. Shawn's career began at W. R. Grace & Co. as a Global Applications Development Manager, with subsequent positions focusing on advanced technology and intellectual property development at Greene, Tweed & Co. and Plextronics. Shawn P. Williams earned a PhD in Materials Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Chemistry from Geneva College.
