Jamie Lawrence

Jamie Lawrence has had a varied career path, starting with a Teacher Assistant role at CURRO Mount Richmore School in 2016. Jamie then moved on to become the Manager of The Waterberry Coffee Shoppe in the same year. In 2017, Jamie took on a Front Desk Associate role at Me & Co. In 2019, Jamie took on two roles: an English Second Language Teacher at Wisdom Learning Center, and a Digital Marketing Manager at Maraschino Lifestyle Marketing. In 2020, Jamie founded their own social media marketing company, FL Marketing House. In 2021, Jamie became a Talent Acquisition Lead at rebuy recommerce, and in 2022, they took on a People Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Makersite. In these roles, Jamie has been responsible for a variety of tasks, including onboarding and offboarding of employees, managing the HRIS, policy refinement, assisting the Senior People management and C Level in decision making, staffing, ATS refinement, HRIS implementation, candidate experience, implementing processes and automating workflows, training and aiding the growth of their team, and working closely with the C level and stakeholders.

Jamie Lawrence is currently enrolled at AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR, where they are studying Human Resources Management and Services. In 2017, they completed a Desktop Publishing and Design degree from Vega School, with a focus on Prepress/Desktop Publishing and Digital Imaging Design. Jamie also holds a 160 Hour TELF certificate from The TEFL Academy - Leading EFL Teacher Trainer Provider, which is related to Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor.
