Smt. Durgesh Nandini has been appointed as Part-time non-official (Independent) Director on the Board of REC Limited pursuant to Order dated December 27, 2021 of Ministry of Power, Government of India. She holds a doctorate degree in Political Science and post graduate degree in Education from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra.
She has rich and varied experience in addressing key social issues under the banner of national level volunteer organization "Jagriti" and is actively contributing as a social worker in the field of women empowerment, child development, health and environment preservation.
She had earlier served as Principal in a prestigious Girls Inter-College in the past and has been a key contributor in the field of education through her involvement in editing of primary level textbooks and training modules in the Department of Elementary Education, Government of Haryana.
As on the date of appointment, Smt. Durgesh Nandini was holding ‘Nil’ Equity Shares in the Company. Further, she has no inter-se relation with any other Director of the Company.
