Dan Kroymann

Dan Kroymann is a Co-Founder and Server Architect at Rec Room, where since March 2016, Dan has been a senior leader of the engineering team and architect of the back-end cloud services supporting the popular social VR game. Prior to this, Dan Kroymann spent over 12 years at Microsoft, contributing as a Senior Software Developer on the HoloLens team, where involvement included the development of launch apps like HoloStudio and RoboRaid, as well as building prototypes that influenced holographic technology. Dan Kroymann also played a significant role in the Xbox division, aiding in the development of the operating system for the Xbox 360, Kinect, and Xbox One. Dan Kroymann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, earned between 1998 and 2003.
