Yasmin H.

Yasmin H. is an experienced professional with a strong background in public safety and policy development. Currently serving as the Head of Trust and Safety at Rec Room since January 2023, Yasmin previously held the position of Deputy Director - Online Harms & Public Safety at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from September 2020 to November 2022. Prior roles include Principal Private Secretary to the Permanent Secretary and Head of Police Funding at the UK Home Office, as well as various positions at the Cabinet Office and Defra focusing on legislation and agriculture policy. Yasmin's early career includes work as a Policy Advisor at the European Commission and Defra. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Globalisation and Development Studies from SOAS University of London and a BA in French and Politics from Queen Mary University of London.
