Zhongxiang Chen

Zhongxiang Chen is an experienced chemical engineer with extensive expertise in process development and engineering in polysilicon production. Currently serving as an FBR Project Staff Engineer and FBR Area Engineering Manager at REC Silicon, Zhongxiang has managed the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of FBR reactors for significant polysilicon output in China. With a robust background that includes roles at Iosil Energy Corporation and Membrane Reactor Technologies Ltd., Zhongxiang has contributed to numerous projects involving process design, plant operations, and technology transfer. Holding a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and a Master’s degree from East China University of Science and Technology, Zhongxiang combines strong technical skills with leadership in various engineering capacities throughout a dynamic career in the chemical and energy sectors.
