Alfonso Morales

Alfonso Morales has extensive experience in public service and advisory roles across various organizations in Sweden and Colombia. Serving since 2006 as a member of the regional council in Region Stockholm, Morales also holds a significant position in Tyresö kommun's municipal council, where leadership roles include chairing committees focused on citizen integration and electoral processes. As a Senior Advisor at Recap Energy since 2016, Morales contributes to sustainable energy solutions. Previous engagements include work with the Stockholms läns sjukvårdsområde to improve healthcare services, and representation in the Samordningsförbundet Östra Södertörn aimed at enhancing public trust and collaboration among governmental agencies. Earlier roles encompassed consulting on refugee issues for the Red Cross and advising on human rights and peace development in Colombia’s legislative bodies. Academically, Alfonso Morales holds a Master of Science in International Economics and has pursued studies at prominent universities in Sweden and Colombia.
