Philipp Blankenagel

Philipp Blankenagel is currently the VP of Marketing at re:cap. Prior to this, they were the Head of Marketing & Communications at Capnamic Ventures, a Cologne and Berlin-based early-stage VC. There, they conducted an extensive rebranding and provided support and sparring for portfolio companies in regard to branding, positioning, and communications. Philipp also managed funding round communication. Before that, they were a Communications & Strategy Consultant, providing strategy, communications, and PR support for digital companies in fast-paced growth environments. Most recently, they were the Vice President of Communications & Marketing at Solarisbank AG, where they led the integrated Corporate Communications & Marketing team responsible for all earned, paid, and owned media. Their main responsibilities included global key messaging, press relations, content strategy, positioning of senior management, social media, and event strategy, amongst others. Philipp started at Solarisbank AG as a Communications Manager in 2016.
