Praveen Ranakoti

Praveen Ranakoti has been working in the automotive industry since 2011. Praveen began their career as an Engineer at Infosys Technologies Ltd, where they were responsible for creating kinematics and packaging studies for seats, analyzing kinematics of structures using Catia, and creating engineering BOMs for automotive systems. In 2013, they joined Johnson Controls as a Design Engineer, where they were responsible for CAD activities, design and development of all row plastic components, and handling complete product lifecycle management. In 2015, they joined Adient as a Product Engineer and Design Engineer, where they were responsible for the design of Recaro sports seats for Jaguar & Land Rover, design of plastic and metal parts for sports seats using Catia V5, and requirement management and design validation for OEM signoff. Currently, Praveen Ranakoti is working as a Lead Engineer and Product Engineer at RECARO Automotive.

Praveen Ranakoti completed a B.Tech in Mechanical from Graphic Era Institute Of Technology Dehradun between 2007 and 2011. In April 2020, they obtained a Digital Manufacturing & Design certification from Coursera, and a Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing : Advanced concepts certification from Udemy.
