Ann Kernan-Roll

Ann Kernan-Roll is an experienced professional with a career spanning over two decades. Ann began their career in 2000 as a Content Producer for Talk Doctor, Inc. In 2002, they moved to Direct Marketing Professionals as a Senior Consultant. In 2007, they joined Omnitech, Inc. as a Project Manager and converted the development lifecycle from waterfall to agile. From 2009 to 2012, they served as a Senior Consultant for Virtuoso, Inc., working on a long-term engagement by SGT on the Landsat Data Continuity Mission at the USGS center for Earth Resource and Observation Sciences (EROS). During this time, they also worked as a Technical Project Manager for Outsell from 2012 to 2012. From 2012 to 2019, Ann worked at Pearson as a Director of Technology, where they were responsible for building friction-less software products and an emphatic customer experience to facilitate the GED tester's journey through studying, testing and credentialing. In 2019, they joined ICF as Director of Platform Engineering, and in 2021, they moved to ICF Next as Partner Technology Solutions. Ann currently holds the position of Head of Engineering at Recast Software.

Ann Kernan-Roll holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, obtained in 2000. Ann has also obtained a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2020, and holds additional certifications as a Certified SCRUM Product Owner, Certified Scrum Master, and Project Management Professional.
