Spencer Nystrom

Spencer Nystrom is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Recast since January 2023. Prior to this role, Spencer held positions at Locus Biosciences, Inc. as a Data Scientist II and at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Graduate Student in the McKay Lab. Spencer also worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at UT Southwestern and holds a PhD in Genetics & Molecular Biology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Spencer obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a Cell & Molecular emphasis from Austin College.
