Ben Packer

Ben Packer is currently a Staff Data Scientist at Recidiviz. They previously held positions at Google, where they served as an Engineering Intern and later a Software Engineer, as well as Principal Data Scientist at Opower. Ben earned a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, where their research focused on high-level scene understanding in computer vision using probabilistic models and machine learning. Prior to their research career, Ben was the Vice President of Operations at Insomnia Cookies, LLC, managing multiple store locations.
