Michelle Orden

Michelle Orden has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Michelle is currently working as a Software Engineer at Recidiviz since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Contract Backend Engineer at the same company from November 2022 to April 2023.

In 2021, Michelle worked as a Python Engineer Intern at Civic Eagle from June to September.

From May 2019 to August 2020, they served as an Information Systems Intern at Russell Reynolds Associates. During this time, they created interactive Power BI reports, constructed report write-ups, and assisted the Innovation Team with projects involving document parsing and data labeling.

Earlier in their career, Michelle worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Squash Haven from August 2017 to August 2018. In this role, they streamlined data collection, increased program capacity, and enhanced academic and squash program time for students.

Michelle Orden attended Dickinson College from 2013 to 2017 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Physics and a minor in Spanish. In 2019, they completed the Graduate Foundations Program at Columbia University. Later in the same year, they studied Computer Science at Bergen Community College. From 2020 to 2022, Michelle pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computational Analysis and Public Policy at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
