Paul Amato has a diverse work experience in the field of real estate and market research. Paul started their career in 1992 as an Environmental Specialist at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment before transitioning into roles such as GIS Specialist at CBS Outdoor and Market Research Manager at The Combs Group. In 2000, they became a Principal Consultant at Corporate Geographics Inc. and later served as the Director of Market Research at Northwest Atlantic (Canada) Inc., where they worked on major assignments for companies like Costco, Whole Foods, Apple, Lululemon, and Winners/HomeSense. In 2010, Paul joined CBRE as the Director of Retail Strategy & Business Development, executing retail strategies for various clients. Paul then worked as the Vice President of Real Estate Research & Strategy at Paracom Realty Corporation and as an Associate at Cushman & Wakefield. Currently, Paul holds the position of Director of Market Development (Real Estate) at Recipe Unlimited Corporation.
Paul Amato completed their education at Ryerson University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree with a focus on Applied Geography. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1989, they attended Dante Academy and earned an OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma).
