Nir Barak

Nir Barak has a strong background in software development and data technology. Nir is currently working as a Data Tech Lead at Reco since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Cognyte from April 2016 to November 2021, serving as a Senior Big Data Developer. In this role, they led the design and implementation of multiple big data and high-availability pipelines, focusing on scalability, availability, and performance. Nir utilized various open-source technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Redis, Presto, Elasticsearch, Airflow, and Ambari. Before joining Cognyte, Nir was a Software Developer at Verint from July 2013 to April 2016. Nir was involved in designing, developing, and deploying scalable distributed complex systems, working with multiple teams throughout various projects. Nir has extensive experience in working with multi-threaded and highly-available distributed systems.

Nir Barak obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from Reichman University from 2011 to 2014.
