George Drametu has over 20 years of work experience. George started their career as a Teacher at Peka High School in 1989, and then became a Legal Counsel at the Ministry of Justice and Prisons from 1991 to 1992. George worked as an Employment Counselor at Sandhills Community Development Inc. from 1992 to 1995, and then became a Self Employed Consultant at New Canadian Career Search Consultant from 1995 to 1997. George continued their legal career as a Student-at-law at the Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations in 1997, and then became a Barrister, Solicitor & Notary Public at Shuh Cline and Grossman in 1999. Most recently, from 2000 to the present, they have served as the Legal Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer, and later as the Director of the Litigation Department & Chief Privacy Officer, at the Real Estate Council of Ontario.

George Drametu has a diverse education history. George completed an LL.B degree in Law at the National University of Lesotho from 1984 to 1987. George continued their education at the same university and obtained an LL.M degree in Law from 1987 to 1989. During this time, they also earned a B.A (Law) degree from the National University of Lesotho from 1984 to 1987.

In 2004 to 2006, George attended York University's Osgoode Hall Law School, where they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Justice System Administration. During the same period, they also attained an LL.M degree in Law at York University's Osgoode Hall Law School.

Moreover, George attended Strathmore School in 1982 to 1983, although no degree or field of study is specified. George also participated in the Business Leadership Program for In-House Counsel offered by the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. George obtained a certification in this program in October 2021.
