Didier Ah-Lone Chan

Didier Ah-Lone Chan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Didier is currently the Director of Business Applications at Recochem Inc., where they are responsible for modernizing IT systems by implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and the Descartes logistics platform.

Prior to their current role, Didier worked as a Project Director at Joseph Ribkoff Inc., leading cross-functional teams to implement Microsoft's Dynamics 365 ERP system with K3's fashion overlay, as well as NGC's Andromeda PLM system.

Before that, they served as a Senior Project Manager at Groupe Dynamite, where they implemented supply chain improvement projects using Oracle's RPAS and NGC's Andromeda for merchandise financial planning and fabric management.

Didier also has previous experience as the Director of Supply Chain at Mattel, Inc., and held multiple roles at MEGA Brands, including Director of Customer Service, Director of Planning and Distribution, Director of Process & Integration, and MIS Manager.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Gildan, where they served as a Project Manager responsible for implementing JD Edwards' manufacturing modules, as well as a Director of Planning, Forecasting, and Inventory. Didier also coordinated the implementation of Oracle-JD Edwards' Finance and Distribution modules and served as a Planner/Business Analyst.

Didier Ah-Lone Chan has an extensive education history. In 1989, they began their studies at Polytechnique Montréal, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Didier completed this degree in 1994. Later, from 1994 to 1996, they attended emlyon business school for a Master's degree in European Management. After a gap of almost a decade, in 2004, Didier returned to McGill University for Project Management essentials training. In 2015, they attended McGill University again, this time for LEAN training.

In addition to their formal education, Didier Ah-Lone Chan has also obtained several certifications. These certifications include "Assessing Digital Maturity" from LinkedIn in January 2023, "Cloud Concepts: Determining Your Cloud Strategy" from LinkedIn in June 2021, and "Blending Project Management Methods" from LinkedIn in April 2020, among others.
