Harshita Akkaraju

Harshita Akkaraju's work experience includes an internship as a Student Intern at Sandoz India Pvt Ltd in 2019, where they completed 150 hours of internship program and submitted a project report. Harshita later worked as an Administrative Support at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine from September 2022 to March 2023, using Electronic Health records to schedule patient appointments and organizing patient treatment records, referrals and financial documents. Currently, they work as a Research Associate II at ReCode Therapeutics, starting from June 2023.

Harshita Akkaraju began their education at Orchid International School in India, where they completed their Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), Class 9-10, from 2013-2015. Harshita then attended Podar International School and received their Indian School Certificate (ISC), Class 11-12, from 2015-2017. Harshita later earned their Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 2017-2021. Harshita is currently pursuing their Master of Science (MS) in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a Pharmaceutics track at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy from 2021-2023. Alongside their studies, Harshita has obtained various certifications such as Clinical Trials Data Management and Quality Assurance from Johns Hopkins University, Drug Discovery from the University of California San Diego, and ORAQ Regulatory Affairs Training Program from Duke University School of Medicine, among others. In 2019, they also completed a Personality Development program from Nirmiti Academy - A Professional Training, Grooming and Coaching Academy.
