John G. Matthews

John Matthews is an accomplished medical professional with extensive leadership experience in clinical development and medical affairs. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Development at ReCode Therapeutics, John has previously held significant roles at 23andMe, Aimmune Therapeutics, Roche, and Genentech, including Senior Clinical Development Leader and Vice President of Clinical Development. John obtained a PhD in Respiratory Pharmacology from Imperial College London and an MB BS BSc in Medicine from UMDS St Thomas Hospital.
