Paul Horton, CHRL, serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Recollective since April 2022, following a notable tenure as Chief Talent Officer at Smart & Biggar from January 2016 to April 2022. At Smart & Biggar, Canada's leading firm in intellectual property and technology law, Paul led cultural transformation initiatives, provided strategic HR guidance, and developed comprehensive HR programs including compensation frameworks and talent management systems. Prior to this, Paul held the position of Director, Talent at Deloitte Canada from January 2005 to January 2016, overseeing a team of HR professionals and leading compensation strategies for the national Audit practice. Additional experience includes roles as Employee Relations Specialist at BLJC and Compensation Specialist at JDSU. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University.
