Yoseph Tsegaye

Program Director, Metabolic Engineering At Recombia Biosciences at Recombia Biosciences

Yoseph was formerly a Senior Scientist at Amyris. He has more than 15 years of experience in yeast metabolic and strain engineering. At Amyris, he has been a leader or a main contributor to several product development projects that brought multiple molecules from concept to large-scale manufacturing. In addition, he is a lead author on different peer-reviewed research manuscripts and patents. Yoseph received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Nevada, where he worked on elevating the vitamin E and vitamin B1 content of plants through metabolic engineering.
