Meagan Olson

Director, Restoration Project at RECON

Meagan is RECON’s Restoration Project Director whose responsibilities include guiding a team of project managers and restoration ecologists; leading field crew; coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies; and managing project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion of project goals. She also performs habitat assessments; mitigation and restoration planning; restoration implementation, maintenance, and monitoring; and preparing status and annual reports to clients and resource agencies. Meagan has restored a variety of habitats including coastal wetlands, vernal pools, coastal sage scrub, maritime succulent scrub, riparian woodlands, and native grasslands in southern California. She has a BS in Environmental and Resource Science and is on the County of San Diego CEQA Consultants List for Revegetation Planning. She is a member of the California Invasive Plant Council, California Native Plant Society, and the California Society for Ecological Restoration (CSER).
