Shane Henry

Shane Henry's work experience includes being the CEO of Reconnaissance Group, a private security and risk consultancy firm that specializes in helping clients operate in emerging markets. Shane has held this role since April 2006. Prior to that, they worked as an NCO in the Irish Defense Forces from December 1999 to April 2006.

Shane Henry obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organisational Resilience from Buckinghamshire New University, where they studied from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Business Continuity from the same university, studying from 2018 to 2019. Shane also holds a Degree in Security & Risk Management from the University of Leicester, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Shane received a Professional Diploma in Leadership and Management from the University College Dublin in 2022. Shane also obtained certifications in AMBCI (Business Continuity Institute) in November 2019 and ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager from PECB in May 2019. Additionally, Shane has experience in Kidnap Incident Management from Control Risk, where they studied in 2010.
