Desmond Cheung

Desmond Cheung has extensive work experience in the medical industry, primarily focusing on research and development roles. Desmond is currently working at ReCor Medical as a Staff R&D Engineer since August 2022 and has also held the role of Sr. R&D Engineer since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Alembic LLC as a Sr. R&D Systems Engineer from May 2019 to June 2020. Desmond also worked at Apama Medical from March 2015 to March 2019, where they played a significant role in developing a vision-guided multi-electrode RF balloon catheter and system to treat Paroxysmal AFib. Apama Medical was acquired by Boston Scientific in October 2017. Desmond's career at Boston Scientific began in 2007, initially as an R&D Engineer and then promoted to R&D Engineer II from 2010 to 2013. Desmond later served as a Sr. R&D Engineer from April 2013 to March 2015.
