Gexsy Nava

Gexsy Nava is currently working as an R&D Engineer 2 at ReCor Medical since November 2022. Prior to this role, Gexsy held the position of R&D Engineer 2 at a stealth startup from December 2021 to October 2022. In this role, they contributed to the design, development, and prototyping of novel catheter and controller designs for a Cryo medical device. Gexsy also performed design verification and validation activities, developed clinical training tools and models, and supported design control activities for new product development. Before this, Gexsy worked as a Research & Development Engineer at PrinterPrezz from March 2021 to December 2021. From August 2019 to March 2021, they were an R&D Engineer at PENTAX Medical Americas. Additionally, Gexsy has experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Juniper Networks, a Resident Advisor at Mesa Court, and an LCLS Mechanical Engineering Intern at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. Gexsy also worked as a Virtual Design in Construction Intern at Truebeck Construction, a Computer Science Teacher's Assistant at SMASH, and participated in Code Camp as a participant.

Gexsy Nava began their education in 2011 at Eastside College Prep, where they completed their high school education in 2015. Following that, they attended UC Irvine from 2015 to 2019, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
