Shruthi Thirumalai

Shruthi Thirumalai is an accomplished biomedical engineer with significant experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Manager at ReCor Medical since September 2021, Shruthi previously held the position of Sr. R&D Engineer at the same company from March 2015 to February 2021. Prior to this, Shruthi worked as a Research Assistant at San Jose State University from August 2010 to August 2012, contributing to an ultrasound-mediated drug delivery system for breast cancer treatment. Shruthi holds a Master of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Biomedical Devices from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Anna University Chennai. Notable accomplishments include receiving the 2013 SJSU Outstanding Thesis Award and co-authoring published research. Shruthi's academic background also includes a research fellowship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
