Xi Chen

Xi Chen has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. They started their career at Sun Yat-sen University as a Research Assistant from January 2011 to June 2012. After that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University from January 2013 to June 2014. From August 2014 to March 2019, Xi Chen worked as an R&D Engineer II at Boston Scientific, and then advanced to the role of Senior R&D Engineer from March 2019 to July 2020. Currently, they are employed at ReCor Medical as a Senior R&D Engineer starting from July 2020.

Xi Chen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biotechnology from Sun Yat-sen University from 2008 to 2012. After completing their undergraduate degree, Xi Chen pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Northwestern University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. In terms of additional certifications, Xi Chen obtained a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in June 2018. They also completed the LASER (Leadership Academy for Scientists, Engineers, and Researchers) Development Programs by MIT from MIT xPRO in June 2019, and obtained a Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in November 2019.
