Andreas Friis

Andreas Friis has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Andreas is currently serving as the Director - Applications at Recorded Future since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Benify from 2015 to 2021, where they held two roles. Firstly, they were the Manager of Portal Development, managing a core development team responsible for the end user experience. Secondly, they served as a Project Manager - IT, leading larger IT projects and coordinating people from different departments. Before that, Andreas worked at Tibco Spotfire from 2012 to 2015 as a Project Manager, overseeing the development of Spotfire releases. Andreas started their professional career at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications in 2005, initially as a Staff Engineer involved in developing messaging applications, and later progressing to Project Manager roles. At Sony Ericsson, they managed multiple teams and handled various projects within Android development. Additionally, Andreas has experience as a Software Engineer at Vimio AB, working on mobile application development, and as a Java instructor at Umeå University, where they taught programming to new students. Andreas also conducted a Master's Thesis at Tieto Enator. Overall, Andreas Friis has gained a strong and diverse background in project management, development, and leadership throughout their career.

Andreas Friis started their education at Umeå University in 1998, where they pursued a Master of Science in Computing Science. Andreas successfully completed this degree in 2004. While studying for their Master's degree, they also attained a Bachelor of Social Science with a major in Business Administration from Umeå University in 2004. Andreas focused their studies in the field of Computer Science for their Master's degree and Social Sciences for their Bachelor's degree.
