Erik Stenvall

Erik Stenvall has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Erik started their career as a Project Coordinator at Chalmers University of Technology, where they played a key role in the D++ project aimed at increasing the number of female students in computer science and computer engineering programs. Later, they served as a System Administrator and then as the Manager of the Computer Incident Response Team at the university.

After their time at Chalmers University, Erik worked as a Presales/Support Engineer at AppGate Network Security AB, where they provided presales support for the AppGate Security Server products and trained customers and partners on the system. Erik continued their work with the same company, now known as Cryptzone AB (publ), as a Solutions Engineer, focusing on presales and support for the AppGate Security Server family of products.

Erik then joined NTT Com Security (formerly Secode) as a Technical Account Manager, acting as the link between the company and its customers for technical issues. Erik later became a Senior IT Security Analyst at the same company, working on improving the Managed Security Services (MSS) delivery, specifically the SIEM as a Service. Erik provided expertise, guidance, and experience to customers in interpreting security events and trends.

Currently, Erik is working at Recorded Future, initially as an Operations Engineer, responsible for a range of operational tasks. Erik then transitioned to become an Integrations Developer, developing and supporting various integrations between Recorded Future and security platforms like SIEM and SOAR. In their most recent role as the Lead Architect for the Integrations Team, they focus on technology and design choices for integration solutions, ensuring efficient and reliable access to data for clients.

Erik Stenvall's education history begins in 1985 when they attended Polhemsgymnasiet, where they completed their Gymnasieingenjör degree in El- och teleteknik in 1988. Afterward, from 1990 to 1994, Erik enrolled in Chalmers University of Technology, where they pursued studies in Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
