Gabe S. has a diverse work experience that spans over different industries and roles. Gabe began their career at the USDA Forest Service as a Time and Leave Clerk, where they ensured accurate time tracking and provided IT services to the human resource department. Gabe then transitioned to become a Firefighter Type 2 for the same organization.

Afterward, Gabe worked as an Electrical Engineer at NAVSEA, where they improved code and redesigned a web interface for projects involving serial interfaces and Ethernet communication. Gabe also created documentation during their time there.

Gabe then joined Montana State University as a Software Developer, where they focused on web development and maintained code bases for internal web applications. Gabe gained proficiency in various operating systems and provided technical support to a large customer base.

Next, Gabe worked at Micron Technology as a Systems Compatibility Engineer and later as a Compatibility Validation Engineer Lead. In these roles, they conducted product testing on Solid State Drives, designed testing automation software using Python, and debugged issues using analytical tools.

Gabe then transitioned to Bodybuilding.com as a Site Operations Engineer, before joining Cradlepoint as a DevOps Engineer. At Cradlepoint, they worked with production Kubernetes, Helm charts, and various other tools and technologies.

Afterwards, Gabe joined Dataminr as a Senior DevOps Engineer and later as a Software Engineer. While at Dataminr, they focused on cloud abstractions, containerized environments, CI/CD tools, and revamping the logging infrastructure. Gabe also developed a Slack bot to automate repetitive tasks and improve team efficiency.

Currently, Gabe is working as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Recorded Future, where they are utilizing their expertise in this field.

Gabe S. holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman.
