John Burk is a seasoned music industry professional with extensive experience. Currently serving as a Partner at Exceleration Music since April 2020, Burk also holds multiple esteemed positions within The Recording Academy, including Vice Chairman of the GRAMMY Museum, National Trustee, and former President of the LA Chapter. Prior to this, Burk was the President of Concord Records and Chief Creative Officer at Concord Music Group from 1990 until April 2020. Additional contributions include a tenure on the Board of Directors for MusiCares from June 2010 to June 2017 and serving as a National Trustee for The Recording Academy from 2009 to 2013. Burk's educational background includes a degree in Music Composition, Music, and Business from California State University, Chico, California State East Bay, and Los Medanos College, following early education at De La Salle High School.
