Kyra James is an accomplished content producer with experience at The Recording Academy since November 2022, focusing on executing digital content strategies for MusiCares. Talented in creating engaging video content, Kyra captures the essence of MusiCares' mission through self-captured and crew-managed productions. As the founder of Kickin It since May 2016, Kyra celebrates Virgin Island culture and community. Previous roles include social media editor at Refinery29, Inc. and social media manager at xoNecole.com, where Kyra significantly increased follower engagement and led branded campaigns for major clients. Kyra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of the Virgin Islands, earned in 2017.
