Daniel Duel, MD

Dr. Daniel Duel is a Medical Director at Recover, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Psychiatrist at Jewish Family Services (2020) and Alcott Center for Mental Health Services (2020). At Alcott, Dr. Duel worked with a comprehensive care team of social workers, therapists, and case managers to provide full-spectrum psychiatric care for a wide range of individuals in the Los Angeles county on medicaid. Their patient populations included those enrolled in a Full Service Partnership Program, with legal histories (on parole), struggling with homelessness, and/or struggling with addiction. In 2018, they began their career as a Resident Physician in Psychiatry at UCLA Health.

Daniel Duel, MD obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2013.
