Annie Thompson possesses extensive experience in substance abuse and recovery counseling, currently serving as a Residential Counselor at Recovering Hope Treatment Center since May 2021 and as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation since April 2019. Previously, Annie worked as a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor at Meridian Behavioral Health, LLC, from February 2018 to April 2019, and held multiple roles at Fairview Health Services, including Clinic Secretary, Nursing Assistant, and Rad Tech Assistant from March 2001 to January 2020. Annie holds a Master's degree in Co-occurring Disorders Recovery Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling, both obtained from Metro State University.

Recovering Hope
Recovering Hope Treatment Center and Outpatient Clinic provides services for families in need of substance use and/ or mental health support. Recovering Hope Treatment Center meets the needs of families by providing various levels of care from individual mental health support, group therapy, substance use outpatient and residential substance use treatment with the option for children to stay unified during services. The staff at Recovery Hope provides individual and group counseling, on-site psychiatric medication management services and medical services in addition to 24- hour supervision of clients and their children.
