Caroline Contreras has had a diverse work experience. CAROLINE started their career in 2005 as a Clerical employee at Issues & Answers, where they worked until 2007. In 2008, they became a Residential Counselor at BETH-EL CENTER, INC. In the same year, they joined Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. as an Admissions Coordinator & Supervisor. CAROLINE held various roles within the organization, including Senior Clinician and Supervisor, where they provided clinical training and supervision, and Director, where they worked on the Treatment Pathway Program. In 2019, they became the Clinical Coordinator at Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. First Step Detox. Most recently, they became the Department Head of Residential Programs at Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. in 2023.

Caroline Contreras earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, General from Springfield College from 2010 to 2012. CAROLINE later pursued a Master's degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University between 2016 and 2018. Additionally, Caroline obtained several certifications including Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in July 2018, Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor in December 2011, Certified Addictions Counselor in August 2011, and Medicated Assisted Treatment Specialist in February 2010 from various institutions such as the Connecticut Certification Board, Inc. and the INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION & RECIPROCITY CONSORTIUM.
