John A. Azzato

Dr. Azzato brings with him over 40 years of treating patients with pain as a practicing orthopedic surgeon. For the past two years he has joined their effort to impact the U.S. Opioid crisis by playing a role in not only treating hundreds of patients with Medication Assisted Treatment but assisting The Recovery Platform in developing the workflow necessary for treating physicians to aid these patients in an efficient, compliant and safe manner. Dr. Azzato is a member of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, the American Society of Addiction Medicine ASAM, and a SAMHSA certified X-Number provider. His practice and front-line interactions with patients provides their team with the necessary knowledge and input to continually improve the user experience of doctors, counselors, and patients.
