Tamieka McLaurin is an experienced professional in social work and project management. Tamieka currently holds the position of Assistant Director of Special Populations/SSVF Assistant Program Director at Recovery Resource Council, where Tamieka oversees case managers for Project New Start. Prior to this, Tamieka served as a Front Desk Monitor at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County and as a Case Manager at Volunteers of America-Texas. Tamieka holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Recovery Resource Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with more than 75 years of experience providing hope, conquering addiction and healing families. Our mission, to promote wellness and recovery form substance use and trauma, leads all strategic planning. RRC provides addiction treatment, veteran specific psychotherapy, housing services, and prevention education for youth and adults.
