Matthew Mendez

Matthew Mendez is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in educational and recreational environments. Currently serving as a Facility Supervisor and Activity Supervisor at UT RecSports since November 2020, Mendez has also held roles such as Teacher Fellow at Breakthrough Central Texas and UTeach Outreach Intern. Previous internships include positions at the UT Environmental Science Institute and as a part of the UT PREP and Summer STEM Camps. Mendez's professional journey began as a Plant Nursery Worker at The Arbor Gate. Matthew Mendez is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development with a minor in Educational Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in May 2024. An alumnus of Tomball Memorial High School, Mendez graduated in 2020.
