Brianne Murphy

Brianne Murphy has a strong background in software engineering and data engineering. Brianne is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at RecruitBot since 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Data Engineer at Slack from 2018 to 2022, where they led the team in launching Slack's Data Discovery Service and designed high-performance spark applications. Before joining Slack, Brianne worked as a Senior Engineering Lead at Flashtalking, Inc. in 2018, where they migrated analytics ETL to Spark and reduced costs on AWS infrastructure. From 2012 to 2018, they worked at Spongecell, first as a Senior Technical Lead, where they rebuilt the backend team and trained developers in various technical tools, and later as a Senior Software Engineer, where they built and launched an ElasticSearch-based ad server and piloted methods for TDD and CI. Brianne also has experience as a Web Developer at blinkx from 2010 to 2012 and as a Product Coordinator at Robot Genius, Inc. from 2005 to 2010.

Brianne Murphy attended Foothill College from 2001 to 2003. However, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during this time.
