Eklavya Gupta

Eklavya Gupta is the Founder & Co-CEO at Recur Club. Prior to this, they worked as an Investment Professional at Ivanhoé Cambridge from June 2018 to November 2021. Eklavya was part of the India team and growth markets team, working closely with colleagues globally to invest across logistics, commercial RE, lifesciences, data centres.

From June 2016 to June 2018, Eklavya worked as an Investment Manager at Kotak Investment Advisors Ltd, where they helped set up and was part of the 3 member investment team at Kotak’s structured credit and special situation fund.

Between June 2015 and June 2016, Eklavya worked as a Leadership Associate at Aditya Birla Group, where they were responsible for retail operations- customer experience, strategy & business development at Novelis, and M&A at Ultratech cement.

Eklavya began their career as a Summer Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in April 2014, before moving to Nomura in June 2010 where they worked as a Capital Markets Analyst until December 2012. Eklavya then undertook a traineeship at Centre of Electronics Design and Technology from May 2009 to July 2009, followed by an internship at National Physical Laboratory from May 2008 to July 2008.

Eklavya Gupta's educational career includes an MBA in finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, an executive programme in algorithmic trading from QuantInsti, and a B.E. in instrumentation and control engineering from the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. Eklavya also has certification from QuantInsti in algorithmic trading - EPAT, Delhi University in Delhi University Merit Scholarship for being amongst the top 10% of entire batch for all four years, National Stock Exchange of India Limited in derivatives module, and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in tution fee waiver for outstanding performance at college.
