Ali Abbas

Ali Abbas has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. Ali began their career in 2000 as an Application Engineer at United Business Machines. In 2001, they moved to Managed Healthcare Inc. as an IT Manager, where they established incident response management lifecycle and took responsibility for managing team work, arranging meetings, and preparing weekly reports. In 2003, Ali joined Cyber Nex, Inc. as an IT Project Manager and performed testing of various IT and Applications controls. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at two different companies, first as a Senior Consultant at Virtuonix, Inc., and then as a Senior Manager EDI at Agentra Healthcare Solutions. At Agentra, Ali managed the EDI team, deployed Power BI dashboards and reports across multiple departments, and introduced a claw back policy that saved the company over $2 million in the first year. In 2020, Ali moved to Affordable Benefit Choices as a Director EDI, managing 10K plus policies, 2.5M dollars of monthly billing, and 100K plus annual calls. In 2021, they were appointed VP of Information at Competitive Health, Inc., and currently serves as a Security Architect at Recuro Health.

Ali Abbas has an education history that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained between 2005 and 2007. Ali also has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from the North West Frontier Province University of Engineering and Technology, which they obtained between 1994 and 2000. Prior to that, Ali attended Houston Community College, Cadet College Kohat, and CCNA Evening School. Additionally, Ali holds a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA, obtained in March 2015, and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco, obtained in May 2001.
