Joanne Hosick

JoAnne Hosick is currently the Manager of Data Analytics for Operations and Maintenance at Recurrent Energy, a position held since April 2024. Prior experience includes over 14 years at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), where roles included Senior Manager for Data and Analytics in Smart Metering, Supervisor for Market Monitoring and Data Analytics, Planner for electricity demand forecasting, and Engineer/Technical Officer in various initiatives. Earlier experience at Hydro One as an Engineer Trainee contributed to foundational skills in the energy sector. JoAnne holds a B.Sc in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Toronto, an M.Sc in Astronomy and Numerical Analysis from Western University, a Graduate Diploma in Power Systems Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and advanced credentials including MBA Essentials and Strategic Technology Roadmapping and Innovation.
