Prior to this role, Kamen held the position of Managing Director for Project Finance and M&A in the Energy Group at Canadian Solar Inc. from March 2017 to April 2024. Kamen's experience includes serving as Investment Management Principal at Rubicon Associates, where the focus was on asset management, and as a Hedge Fund Investment Professional at Steadfast Financial, specializing in value-oriented asset management within the energy sector. Kamen co-founded New Europe Capital Partners LLC, engaging in private equity and real estate investments, and previously worked in investment banking roles at Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse First Boston, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and leveraged finance, respectively. Kamen holds a Master's degree in Economics from Wesleyan University.
