Pedro Sanz Gonzalez

Pedro Sanz Gonzalez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Global Senior Director of Investment and Strategy at Recurrent Energy since July 2022. In this role, Pedro is a Board Member of the company's Joint Venture partnerships and oversees the origination and execution of business in the EMEA region, focusing on solar PV, battery energy storage systems, data centers, and hydrogen projects. Prior to this position, Pedro held various leadership roles at Canadian Solar Inc. from March 2011 to July 2022, where notable achievements included securing significant power purchase agreements in Mexico and Puerto Rico, as well as driving substantial growth in Latin America. Previous roles include key positions at Evergreen Solar, Applied Materials, and Gamesa Eolica, showcasing a robust background in sales and business development within the renewable energy industry.
