Stefano Russo

Stefano Russo is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Recurrent Energy since August 2019. Previously, Stefano held the position of Managing Director of Global Finance, Sales, and M&A for the Energy Group at Canadian Solar Inc. until September 2023. Prior roles include Head of M&A at Sinaoga Capital, VP of Origination at TerraForm Power, and Director of Asset Sale for Global Projects at Canadian Solar Inc. Additionally, Stefano has experience in strategy and business development at DCWafers and DCIngenieria, and served as Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company focusing on financial institutions. Stefano holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University and a Laurea in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
