Katherine Torres-Pummill

Katherine Torres-Pummill has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katherine currently holds the position of VP, Military Partnerships at Recurrent Ventures since 2022. Prior to this, they joined Chief in September 2022 as a Member, where they contribute to empowering and supporting women leaders.

From 2017, Katherine served as the SVP of Branded Content & Partnerships at We Are The Mighty, where they managed all digital media content and strategy for a military media company. Their responsibilities included guiding a team and collaborating with clients and media agencies to pursue business development opportunities. Katherine ensured the alignment of product and marketing campaigns with strategic objectives.

At The Associated Press, Katherine held the position of National Media Executive from 2010 to 2017. In this role, they oversaw business and revenue development operations, including budgeting, marketing initiatives, product promotions, and licensing agreements. Katherine actively acquired new accounts and promoted new products through industry events.

From 2008 to 2010, Katherine served as an Executive Assistant at Time Inc., supporting the Associate Publisher and Managing Editor for publications like People Magazine and Fortune Small Business Magazine. Katherine efficiently managed calendar, travel, and expense functions to ensure timely publication delivery.

Katherine's earlier experience includes working as a Photography Coordinator at CBS Outdoor from 2004 to 2007. In this role, they served as a photography expert, organizing client shoots, creating social media content, and delivering printed materials.

Throughout their career, Katherine has demonstrated expertise in various areas, such as partnership development, content strategy, business operations, client service, and project coordination.

Katherine Torres-Pummill holds a Master's Degree in M.S. Media Management from The New School. Katherine also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Queens College.
