Ali Madani

Ali Madani is an accomplished machine learning scientist currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Recursion since May 2023, after progressing through roles as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist and Senior Data Scientist. Prior experience includes a tenure at Cyclica from July 2019 to May 2023, where Ali held various roles including Director of Machine Learning and Machine Learning Team Lead. Additionally, Ali contributed as an Editor for a special topic on Artificial Intelligence in Cancer Diagnosis and Therapy at MDPI in 2022. With a strong background in education, Ali has been active as a Machine Learning Educator at WeCloudData and as a Machine Learning Instructor at AICamp. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Toronto, along with Master's degrees in Mathematical Modeling and Computational Modeling from the University of Waterloo.
