Anne Carpenter

Anne Carpenter is an accomplished Institute Scientist and Imaging Platform Senior Director at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT since January 2007, with a senior title attained in 2018. In addition to this role, Anne is a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Quiver Bioscience, a Co-founder and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board at SyzOnc, and serves on the Scientific and Technical Advisory Board of Recursion Pharmaceuticals, where expertise in high-throughput image-based profiling is applied to drug discovery. Previously, Anne co-founded and served as President of the CytoData Society, was a Scientific and Technical Advisory Board member at Bio-Rad Laboratories, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. Anne holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Biology from Purdue University.
