Arin M.

Arin M. is a highly experienced machine learning scientist currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Recursion since April 2023, previously holding the role of Senior Machine Learning Scientist at LG Electronics Canada from October 2020 to April 2023. Prior experience includes positions as a Data Scientist at Scotiabank, where contributions were made in advanced analytics and back-office data science efforts, and as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Toronto, focusing on various machine learning applications and publishing nine papers in peer-reviewed venues. Arin's background also includes instructional roles in electrical and computer engineering, co-founding Utern, a platform for matching students with research opportunities, and internship experience at Ericsson, designing algorithms for 5G communication networks.
