Ben Mabey

Ben was a part of the founding team at Red Brain Labs, where he led the development of decision services that optimized business processes for Fortune 500 companies using predictive models and simulation. After being acquired by Savvysherpa, Ben led a data science team working on various projects within healthcare, including research on accelerometer-based bio-identification and subsequent development of a fraud-detection system using data coming from fitness trackers in an insurance wellness program. Prior to this, Ben worked as a machine learning engineer in the ad-tech space.

Ben earned his master’s degree in computer science from the University of Utah, where he studied computer graphics and machine learning. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, exploring the mountains, trail running and competing in triathlons.
